Our Story
Mayflower was born after our two directors Mike and Lulu embarked on their own construction project over a decade ago and found the finance market limited and complex.
Mike, having already been a mortgage broker for 5 years believed the issues with securing project finance would only be compounded for other non industry self builders.
With a clear need for a specialist broker in the space Mike and Lulu used their own experience of building, professional knowledge and a further three years of training to up-skill themselves on everything self build and development finance, Mayflower was the result.
Mike and Lulu are passionate about enabling self builders. This flows through the whole team, half of which are self builders themselves and understand the stresses our clients face.
From the outset our ethos has, and always will be “client first”. We have grown over the years, however at our core will we always remain a family run business and our clients families will always be at the heart of everything we do.
